CWT 2006-2011

The French – Norwegian cooperation project Circus World Theatre
2006-2011 make new circus, street arts, street theatre objects,
exhibitions, performances, events and shows. Royal de Luxe and La Machine is to street arts what a glacieris to an icecube”. Their “Visit of the Indian Sultan” -with the twelve meter high elephant, drew 1 mill. spectators to the centre of London and was a soul-setting, poetical experience, for everyone who took part of the event.

With a view to “ Stortrollet på Karl Johan” (dancing through the time with Circus World Orchestra), CWT made an intentional agreement with La Machine concerning exhibition of new circus objects and street-theatre festival 2007-2011.

We have in mind in sector “Arena-development” to build as new circus object “Radio for the Troll” as a requisite to the “Big Troll on Carl Johan”. It’s to be build as a mobile stage with installed light and a living circus orchestra. It’s a circus wagon with high production values and standards, regarding exhibition and new circus object with “En piste” (Circle) and an acrobat-tower, that will open for circus and street theatre in connection with it. A cross competence and genre-crossing work in progress!

Thus Circus World Orchestra will deliver program, create attractions through artistic intervention in the official space. Itself being a new circus object, the circus wagon will promote, announce and establish still new arenas and forms for art production and cultural exchanges.
